Remote control membrane switch panel

The remote control panel offers a convenient button operation experience for users, featuring characteristics such as slimness and durability.

Material Selection

Panel Layer Materials: PET film offers excellent abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, UV resistance, and light transmission, making it suitable for mid-to-high-end home appliance remote controls. PVC film provides high flexibility, low cost, and vibrant printed colours, commonly used for low-end appliances or short-term remote controls. PC film delivers impact resistance, high hardness, and chemical corrosion resistance, ideal for industrial control remote controls and equipment operating in harsh environments.

Circuit Layer Materials: Silver paste circuits offer stable conductivity and extended lifespan, withstanding over one million press cycles, commonly used in mid-to-high-end remote controls; carbon paste circuits provide cost-effective basic conductivity, suitable for low-end remote controls or short-term usage scenarios.

Remote control membrane switch panel Characteristics

Lightweight and portable: Typically 0.3–1.0mm thick with minimal weight, facilitating installation on remote controls without adding excessive bulk or weight.

Waterproof and dustproof: Features a fully sealed structure to effectively prevent ingress of water, dust, and other contaminants, ensuring reliable operation across diverse environments.

Extended Lifespan: Contact points endure over one million actuations, with metal spring-loaded types achieving up to five million cycles, meeting demands for prolonged, frequent remote usage.

Aesthetic Customisation: Diverse printing techniques produce panels in varied colours and patterns. Key shapes and tactile feedback can be tailored to requirements, enhancing visual appeal and accommodating personalised preferences.

Remote control membrane switch panel Type

Planar Membrane Switch: Featuring a simple structure comprising upper and lower circuit layers with an insulating barrier layer. Upon actuation, deformation of the upper film layer causes contacts to engage with the lower circuit layer, thereby completing the electrical circuit.

Metal Spring Membrane Switch: Incorporates a metal spring beneath the keypad. When pressed, the central point of the spring depresses to contact the conductive area of the circuit board, forming a circuit. This design delivers superior tactile feedback and extended service life.

Application Scenarios

Widely employed in household appliance remote controls such as televisions, air conditioners, and microwave ovens. Also commonly used in industrial control remotes and car key fobs, catering to diverse operational requirements across equipment types.
